Let’s Catch Up

Hi everyone! It certainly has been a while since I’ve written anything. We have been busy growing our organization and doing amazing community outreach. We’ve had some board changes but I am hopeful that the board members we have now are here to stay as we’ve all been working well together and making amazing moves.

To start we have partnered with Once Upon A Child in Enfield, CT. We are receiving donations from them twice a week which is filling our foster closet to help support our duffle bag mission. Since the beginning of April, we have given over 50 bags to foster children and “at-risk” youth.

Saturday, June 1, we had a clothing drive which was the beginning of a potentially amazing partnership that will help our mission exponentially! More details to come on that.

Soon, we will be selling tickets to the Hartford Athletic League for a game in July to help obtain awareness of our mission but also, a time for people to enjoy themselves and watch a soccer game.

We are looking forward to our event in August at Wickham Park. We hope to see everyone there!
